Richmond Grade School 
Richmond Grade School offers comprehensive programs for children in kindergarten through fifth grade in the core subject areas of reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Our curriculum further expands beyond these core areas into foreign language, physical education, art, computers, and music. Spring Grove Elementary School 
Spring Grove Elementary School's curriculum is built on a foundation of proven educational methods combined with current educational philosophies of hands-on learning, engaged learning and real life problem solving. The Language Arts Program provides a mixture of literature, whole language, and phonics that also involves daily writing. The Science Curriculum emphasizes discovery, experimentation, and the scientific method. The Mathematics Curriculum is strongly focused on problem solving. Social Studies, a rich Art and Music program, Spanish, Computer Training, and Physical Education also fill each child's day. 

Spring Grove School enjoys active parental support as in evidence by the volunteers  and the Parent Teacher Organization (P.T.O.).  Spring Grove School is a past recipient of the Bright Star Award, given by the Taxpayer's Federation of Illinois.

Nippersink Middle School 
Nippersink Middle School offers comprehensive programs for students in grades sixth through eighth.  The core subjects include: reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and physical education. The students also rotate through trimester courses that include computers, art, and Health.  The school also offers enrichment opportunities for all grade levels, a program for students with learning disabilities, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language therapy, social work services, and single and group counseling sessions with our guidance counselors. 

Through extracurricular programs, students are able to participate in band, athletic programs, and intramural programs. 

Parents are a key component to the success of the school; by their involvemehnt in the PTO, volunteering, and supporting the fine arts and athletic programs.

Richmond-Burton Community High School 
Richmond-Burton Community High School offers college preparatory, vocational and resource programs. The college preparatory curriculum is highlighted by grade weighted honors courses which can lead into advanced placement tests for college credit. College bound students have numerous four year programs in math, science, English, business and social studies and foreign languages. Vocational students have the opportunity to participate in 22 two-year vocational programs offered at the Lake County Technology Center.

Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are offered to further develop the talent, interests and abilities of students by the following athletic programs: football, golf, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading,cross country, dance, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, and track. Fine Arts activities are highlighted by a school musical, concerts, jazz band, pep band, and show choir.

Marian Central Catholic High School 
Marian Central Catholic High School was established in 1959.  It is a co-educational, college preparatory school that serves families throughout McHenry County.

Marian is supported by tuition and fees paid by families as well as assessments from the 17 Catholic parishes in the county.  The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, and is recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education and the National Catholic Educational Association.

The College of Lake County (CLC) is a two-year public community college in Lake County offering associate in arts, science, engineering science, fine arts, and applied science degrees.  The college also offers certificate programs with more than 100 options in fields from accounting to Web design.  In addition, CLC offers continuing education courses for personal enrichment or professional needs and adult education courses in the areas of basic skills, English as a Second Language, and General Education Development.  CLC's Business and Industry Services department provides customized programs and training to meet the needs of business.
